Kenyan Students

Status:

Missio Global has been active in East Africa since 2016. Currently there are four (4) Schools of Ministry in Tanzania, Zanzibar, and Kenya, including in regions where Christians are less than 2% of the population. We are honored to be working with several national church groups that are active in church planting. Nine churches have been planted by Missio Global School of Ministry students AND received “seed” funding from our church planting fund.

  • Regional oversight, outreach, and expansion -- $4,500/year
  • Translation of Cross Series discipleship books into Kiswahili -- $900
  • In-country printing and distribution of discipleship books -- $1,000
  • Total for Region -- $6,400
  • Special assistance to church reconstruction that was damaged – $10,000

Director:

We do not currently have a Regional Director for East Africa but work closely with several key ministry leaders in the region, including Bishop Charles Kiyengo (Zanzibar), Bishop Elias Chessa (Tanzania), and Pastor Fredrick Masha (Kenya).
